Design Your Own!

THIS IS A DEPOSIT. We will decide a final price once you have contacted me with details, then the remainder of the balance must be paid prior to beginning of class.

In this class we begin with talking about design and the history of footwear! We will then take measurements of the foot, select a last and amend it if necessary. After we have selected a design, we will make a paper pattern, select leather and cut out all the pieces, prepare and assemble the uppers. After lasting and cementing/stitching upper to insole/midsole we’ll finish by cementing on the rubber outsole/cupsole.

You’ll leave class with a well fitting beautiful finished pair of shoes/boots that you made from scratch!

Start Time : We will begin at 9:30 am , and go until 5:00 pm PST. This includes an hour break for lunch.
